AB (at bat count wrong) for a player

I have a game where iscore is incorrectly reporting 22 PA (plate appearances) in the Statistics.
BUT
If I show the scorecard it only shows by counting 21 PA's.
1 Batter is being given 2 AB's when they only had 1.
There was a substitution made when the batter came up and it correctly showed that original batter did NOT get an AB.
But the replacement batter got 2 ??

this is easily correctable.
however, the direct fix somewhat depends on how you entered it, not knowing how you entered the sub .... will provide a couple fix options
the fix happens at the GAME level, Go to the GAME MANAGER > Select Impacted Game (i.e. get to Game Info Screen).
Option 1) force stat recalc, (if sub was done correctly, this will correct the stats)
From "Game info" screen > tap on Batting stats > tap the Recalc button > if you have manually edited stats, make sure you choose keep your edits, but if you have not manually overridden stats. select recalculate all.
option 2) edit pitch by pitch (if the sub entry was somehow mixed up to start, this will let you correct)
From "Game info" screen > tap on Pitch by Pitch - Editor > ... you will need to dive in, and make sure the substitutions are correct, scroll down to the spots the game the batters of concern come to plate and check / correct substitution as needed
Option 3) If all else fails, manually over ride the stats,
From "Game info" screen > tap on Batting stats > tap on the PA cell that is wrong and "manually" edit it

P.S. if you want to better understand and learn why it happened so it does not happen again, feel free to post back more description on how (and when) you made the sub.. the more details, the easier to help. example. how many players in batting order (bat 9? bat all, DH?) . In what inning did the sub happen, how many times had original batter come to bat before the SUB, how many times did the sub bat. did the original batter ever re enter. when you made the sub, how did you do that, did you do by tapping on the batter icon ad make the offensive sub, did you make a corresponding defensive sub. etc how many innings do you play, 21 PA sounds like less than a 9 inning game.

1) I did a sub "at the plate" when batter A was up, I tapped the batter, picked batter B.
2) i have done recalc , no effect
3) I had already looked at the pitch by pitch, and it looked correct.
What is odd to me is that the "scorecard" is correct?
Now, the player that came in , was not listed as EH on the lineup, could that have something to do with it?

Lastly, I'd really like to know if this is a bug?
I guess I could compare the scorecard with the stats after everygame, but I'd rather trust that iscore gets it correct the first time

I have not seen this reported on forum before and can not (yet) replicate. Can not call it a bug until i can replicate.. . If able to replicate, than can log as a bug.
the scorecard being 'different' is not a "definitive flag" to me, (b/c the way scorecard is generated vs the Stats, there are multiple ways they can be different. and recalc usually fixes. )
As i am not with the developers/company, just forum moderator, i do not have access to your database, but if you want to send support an email
support@iscoresports.com with your device ID number, detailed description of problem ( even reference this post.) . they can Look at your underlying data. In the meantime we can troubleshoot more here if you want. ..
sounds like you are familiar with pitch by pitch editor. which is good. we can then look into it more.
For context and to help me reply back more directly, what is the original batter name is __? What spot in line up is he originally. what is the the sub name = is this the home or away team? what inning does the Sub happen. which time at bat is this. .?
In the starting event, Starting line up.
How many players batting?, and how many in starting line up (aka how many not batting, reserves) ,
Now go through pitch by pitch, How many times does Original Batter BAT.. when you get to the Events around his sub, is he subbed before any pitches,.. ?
.. did the sub finish the game or get subbed for later.?

11 players batting 13 on lineup
batter 9 was up, replaced with one not batting
inning 5
The original batter 9 had batted once, when up 2nd time, was "subbed" by a non-batting player
Sub batted 1 time, game ended after one more batter.

Ok ,
Ok, you said the Batting stats are showing 22PA when they should be showing 21PA.
below is what i think you described it should be . What is it showing (i.e. which batter(s) wrong)
Batter #1 - 2PA
Batter #2 - 2PA
Batter #3 - 2PA
Batter #4 - 2PA
Batter #5 - 2PA
Batter #6 - 2PA
Batter #7 - 2PA
Batter #8 - 2PA
Batter 9 - 1PA
Sub for Batter 9 - 1PA
Batter 10 -2PA
Batter 11 - 1PA
------------------
21PA
For batters that are wrong, Look at the Pitch count for them in the stats. Is that correct ?

I "MAY" have found the "weirdness" I was just looking at the pitch-by-pitch, and noticed that in the "English" of the play, it shows
#4 John Richardson strikes out swinging. #4 John Richardson strikes out swinging.
Yep, shows it twice!
If I edit it, the Details indeed show Two entries.

to your previous question, you went the wrong way.
Batter 9 - 1PA
Sub for Batter 9 - 2 PA
The 2PA should be 1PA.
but if you look at my previous post, it's like he struck out twice ?!?

( I was listing what i thought "correct" would be (21PA) based on your description, as i was unclear who was being shown wrong, based on your follow up post, Sub Batter 9 is the one showing 2PA (should be 1PA- Got it) ,
is #4 John Richardson the Sub?
and you are saying now he has two "entries" in pitch by pitch , yes that is ODD,.(but we can now work on that next)
.. curious, how many outs did you get in that inning?
