Viewing Data (unique viewers)(answered)

Post by Cannon » Mon Sep 19, 2016 4:29 pm

Somewhere along the line, perhaps as much as a couple years ago, the viewer data shown when clicking on the radio tower icon stopped accurately showing unique viewers.

No matter how many unique viewers have checked in, the app shows the same number as is shown for current viewers. Interestingly, people viewing the games can see how many unique viewers there have been. But, when scoring, the unique viewer count always matches the current viewer count.

Not a huge issue but annoying, nonetheless.

Scoring on an iPad Air 2, iOS 10. I believe the problem has been around since iOS 8.

The change came when the iScore Central app was added. We do not currently have a way to get total unique viewers across all the ways of viewing the iScorecasts. You can see how many are currently watching though as you noted. We may bring back the total unique viewers in the future.
