I had purchased the MLB add on on my ipad earlier in the season. I was at a game last night and wanted to score it on my phone so I went to download the roster and didn't see the MLB Add-on active on my phone, so I proceeded to purchase it. In other apps, when I have done this and used the same apple account, it recognizes that I already own it and get the push. Unfortunately, I see a receipt from Apple saying I just purchase it again. (1) Can you let me know what I did wrong in refreshing my purchase on a different device? (2) can I get a credit for the 2nd purchase?

As long as it is the same product (iScore Baseball Universal on both devices), and you use the same iTunes account, iTunes would recognize you have already purchased and let you install on the new device. If you use a different iTunes account, or a different iScore (there are 2 available in the app store), then Apple would not recognize it.

Also keep in mind the year of purchase... there is a new MLB roster package each year.

Refunds would have to come from Apple - you can request refunds from them directly - they do not give developers a way to give refunds.

I contacted apple and they processed a refund but I still am uncertain why I was charged twice.

In June I purchased "iScore Baseball/Softball Scorekeeper- Universal version 2015 Major League Daily Rosters, Lineups and Stats" from my ipad. Last week I tried scoring an MLB game from my iphone which uses the same itunes account. That purchase was titled "iScore Baseball/Softball Scorekeeper 2015 Major League Daily Rosters, Lineups and Stats" on the iTunes receipt. The difference being is the last download didn't have the "Universal" listed on it. I believe both my iphone and ipad have the latest version of iScore running. Can you please explain what I need to do on my iphone (or should have done) so that the June purchase was recognized?

Looks like there are multiple versions of iScore Baseball on the iTunes store. How can I tell which one is the "universal" one?
