Late players on line up?

Post by chucky1169469 » Thu May 28, 2015 5:08 am

We are talking about our whole league switching to Iscore for ease and ability to email lineup cards. But we ran into and issue last night were a teams coach didn't want to do his lineup until at least nine of his players actually showed up, and that would be problematic when doing pre-game lineup cards. I told him he should go ahead and submit the lineup as if all players were showing up and revise it before the game starts. He thought that was too much work. What would y'all suggest?

Maybe just tell the coach he is wrong? Seriously, I think your original plan is sound. Some coaches don't like change. At the Little League level, I've also noticed many coaches tend to prefer the chaos and just don't care about how it affects other teams. It will always be difficult to deal with those coaches in a league setting. Set your league wide rules and enforce them as much as you can. Then realize half of the time you will still be adjusting your iScore lineups at the last minute. Good luck.
