I Should not have used an accent...

Post by triple » Tue May 12, 2015 4:58 am

... when I registered my teams for the new season

May 5, CAFÉ EXPRESSO vs COQ DU ROI - note the accent on the letter "E" of CAFÉ
When reading the stats, the "É" came out with different "machine characters"
Correction brought : All the accent where replaced... no more accent

May 8, FERTILISATION vs CAFE EXPRESSO - note the correction brought...
When getting the cumulated team stats, only one game of CAFE EXPRESSO appeared, the one played on May 8 and I could'nt get the one played May 5

When I did the correction to the May 5 game, the accent was still there when looking at the GAME MANAGER screen.
So I looked at the "pitch by pitch" and at the team stats, everything was OK, the correct spelling was there but not/ not when looking the GAME MANAGER screen

When getting the stats for all the teams, I only get one for CAFE EXPRESSO and 2 cummulated stats for all the other teams

How can I correct the spelling of the team on the GAME MANAGER screen, which I do believe is the problem??

The spelling of the team should not make any difference. It sounds like maybe you created a second copy of the team and then perhaps deleted the one that had the accent mark? You can undelete the team and then use Merge in Team Manager. To undelete, follow the instructions here:

http://iscoresports.com/baseball/kb/faq ... delete.php

To Merge after undeleting, go to Team Manager, and select the Merge option. Then select one team in the left column and the team to merge with in the right column, then tap Merge in the upper right corner.

It did not work with EXPORT/IMPORT because the team's name with the accent supposily deleted wasn't there.

What I did to correct the spelling after the game ended was to go on TEAM MANAGER and simply corrected it from there and saved it. I do not recall having deleted it, just change the spelling...

Everything went fine until we decided to get the teams stats after 2 games as a reminder how it works :-) and we got only one game of stats for CAFE EXPRESSO while we got 2 games of cumul stats for all the other teams

I do believe that I shouldn't have made the correction within TEAM MANAGER!!

If I look at GAME MANAGER, the game played on May 5 of CAFÉ EXPRESSO (with the accent), is still there with all the game details and I also have the game on May 8 of CAFE EXPRESSO (no accent) also with all the details which was the only game stats I have received when requesting for "team stats"

Will I have to rescore the game using the "play by play" of the May 5 game? Hope not
thanks for your patience

If you used the same underlying team to score both games, then you would not have to rescore. You can change the team name from game to game and that is fine as long as it is the same team.

If you want to export and email your customer ID to support@iscoresports.com and let us know which teams/games in that email, we can look at your data to see what is going on.

You may want to try using the Recalc option when viewing stats to see if that helps.
