Boy player names on girls teams
Boy player names on girls teams
Over the last 4 years I have used iscore I have noticed there have been an increase in boys player names in my player manager. I don't have any idea of where they are coming from. Sometimes I go into player manager and delete the boy player names but there are so many now it would take forever to delete them all. I have only used my iscore for girls softball games. Help please

Players would not just appear on the device without being added. Perhaps you used the Discover Game or Discover Team option and it pulled in names that you don't recognize? You can check the rosters of any teams you have discovered to see if this is the case.
The only way to remove players would be to delete them from Player Manager.

I really think some of the names fake so I don't know where they are coming from. Here are some of the examples of names: Mario Urueña, José Torres. One name even had a small number 3 in it which I couldn't figure out how to show here. There are a least 10 names with the "©" symbol in them. I know I never put those in and I doubt they would have come from the Discover team option. I would really like to figure out where they are and how to stop them from coming back

Discover team is the likely source..
I know some discover team associations, bring in manger/coach fields as a players. (annoying) but manageable. Could explain many man names. As to the odd characters, not sure.. But After multiple years of iscore usage, player manager gets cluttered, and since it does not take up much space, I let it go. I use leagues extensively to "filter in" the player names, I want to see. And let the rest just clutter up in the default ALL league. If you want to 'purify' it is a detailed team by team, player by player task audit. .. Which for many years of data would be painful..
