For the error discrepancy... we examined the user's data and found the cause.

The Errors counted in the Box Score on the website are only counted when error are assigned to actual players, not just positions. In this case, the user had assigned an error to the Catcher during a game, but did not have a player assigned as catcher. The box score will only count errors that have a player associated with them.

This is easily corrected by going to Game Manager, selecting the game in question, going to Pitch by Pitch, and either putting a player in as a substitute at the missing position on any pitch prior to the one where the error occured, or going to the "Game Starts" event and editing the starting lineup to have a position assigned.

thanks for clarification, can you put on the list for future fixes, makeing this not so.. I understand why it is not counting today and how we can fix in short term/ workaround. but as we know many folks don't assign players to opponents but still would want to count team errors.

The data on the website comes from player statistic data that is generated by the device when you export. If there are errors assigned to positions that do not have players assigned, then the website does not have a way of reconciling the total errors for the game for those errors assigned to nobody.

We will look for ways to fix this in the future.

I just exported a game this evening that seems to be exhibiting this exact issue. Please see http://iscorebaseball.com/mpyankees10" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. It is the September 16th game. The home team line score should be 1-2-4-1, but it incorrectly shows 1-1-5-1.

Any ideas?

Thanks for surfacing...suggest you send ftm an email with your customer ID. They thought they had isolated this issue ( runs per inning not matching scorecard) and I thought corrected, as it is a web side thing not an app thing.

. But if you just exported, And just emailed the scorecard, it would seem something else involved..
