Problems with sending data from Game using email

Post by AndzikD » Sat Aug 21, 2010 12:25 pm

Last couple of days I have a trouble to send to myself email with the stats from games.
When I hit email, I get the message "Email successfully sent", but I do nor receive email into my mailbox.
Never had the trouble before.

If you are getting the "Email successfully sent" message, then it means our email servers received the email request and did send it to the email address you requested. If you are not receiving the email, it can mean one of a few things:

1. The most common cause is the emails are going to a "Junk Mail" folder. Sometimes even if the emails have not gone to the junk mail folder in the past, an ISP may decide to start putting them there anyway. To be sure this does not happen, but sure to add "DoNotReply@iscorecentral.com" to your "Safe List" with your email provider.

2. A less common issue is some servers filter out emails with attachments. You can try emailing yourself the stats with only the "HTML" selected and see if you receive this email. If this comes through, but emails with the attachments do not, then there could be a setting with your email provider to allow attachments.

3. If you have another email address you can send to, you can try that. Sometimes there is a non-obvious typo in the email address you are sending to, and trying another email address can at least show that the emails can go through.

If you have checked all of these things and continue having issues, if you can email us directly at support@iscorecentral.com with the email address you are having trouble sending to, we can take a look at that.
