Merged two teams, and lost players?

Post by southernfried » Tue Feb 02, 2016 1:29 pm

I searched but found no answers. I merged our 2015 high school team with this years team, and in the process lost players, and the new players assumed the old players stats?

any help is appreciated.

When merging teams, iScore takes that is meaning you created two teams for the same team (usually by mistake), and the merge process will merge matching players too. Players are matched based on jersey number and initial of the names. It is not a "union of two rosters", it is a merging process that combines the players as well.

Unfortunately the merge is not reversible as the steps indicate while doing the merge.

If you used iScorecast for your games, you can delete a game that was merged that represented the "original" team, then use Options -> Data Share -> Get from Web Database, and enter "sc:xxx" (replcing xxx with your customer ID) for customer ID and your password (found on the Options -> Admin Website screen), and it will then let you import the game back to your device with "unmerged" teams and players.

Or if you exported prior to doing the merge, we can restore your last export and let you import that back to your device ... it will overwrite the data currently on your device if you want to use this option. If this is what you would like, please email your customer ID to support@iscoresports.com with a description (or link back to this message) to let our support folks know what you are looking to do.
