iOS7 iPhone 5 Slight photo glitch

Post by mjacton » Sun Sep 22, 2013 1:22 pm

The only thing I've had trouble with so far is minor. The photos (from the camera roll) aren't centering correctly...seemingly up and to the left, but it's hard, if not impossible to get them right. Thanks.

I did the exact same thing, but it was through Team Manager.

Add Player--Add New Player. If I center the photo as I usually do it comes out (on the Player Card and iscore central) off center. I guess I don't know any more specifics. It generally comes out skewed up and to the left.

Maybe I'm not using the guides correctly? Use the "un-blurred" portion to center my photo. However, I did try using the more blurred by lighter (there are three levels of transparency) as the bottom guide a few times, and it seems to work better but also sometimes too large.

Any more I can help with?

Might it help if I exported all my data, deleted the app, then re-installed it?

it may sound silly, but the extra text does help..

I am doing on an iPhone 4 with iOS7. and not getting off center.

Can you confirm you are using an iphone 5? w iOS7 (I am thinking it is iPhone 5 related not iOS7 related per sea)

when you say you are seeing it off center "on the Player Card and iscore central" Can you be more specific,

do you mean on the web ? - aka the roster page of your team web site or on an isocrecast . .or on my.iscorecentral.com ?

do you mean on the player card (flip) on your device or do you mean on the emailed player card (not the device)?

are you adding photo from Camera or Camera roll?

when i add . (by camera or camera roll) on my iphone 4S (ios7), i get a square "clear area" in the center of the phone screen to center picture in ( fuzzy areas above and below) when i center photo in the clear area it centers just fine later when displayed on my phone in Player Manager > Player Card, in emailed player card, on Team Web site Roster and on isocrecast .

thanks

I am definitely using an iPhone 5 with iOS 7. And, it doesn't appear that the latest update makes a difference.

I don't know if it makes a difference, but with iOS 6 on the same phone, I did not have this issue.

I'm sorry. When I said iscorecentral, I mean iscorecast on the web.

However, the player card (flip) also shows the same off-center pictures that I uploaded.

I'm going from Camera Roll, not the camera directly.

When I add a photo (from the camera roll) with the updated version, I have a square with a clear area where I assume the picture should be centered. above and below are grayed-out areas. Below the whole thing are the Cancel and Choose buttons in an even darker (but not completely opaque) area.

Hope this helps, and sorry for the delay in responding.

Correction. It does seem to have been corrected somehow. Any new pictures I add with the same method are now coming out right.

The problem I have now is that I'm not having success replacing ones that were off-center.

If you upload a new one, it will replace the old on the server, but you may see cached copies of the old one for a few hours. If you clear your browser cache and view the iScorecast again it will have the updated images.
