Game begins, remote locations say waiting t start

We have 2 coaches that use the program. The 2nd coach started the game and remote locations that tried to view , after entering the username, saw the game in the top, but when they logged in, it just kept saying "Waiting to start game." The entire game was played and the stats available, but nobody saw the game. Having trouble trying to retrieve to the 1st coach in data sharing. It shows no games and I can't get it on the website.

With the iScorecast, it sounds like the game was scored with iScorecast turned off, or with no internet connection. In order for iScorecasts to work, you must have iScorecast enabled on the Options screen in iScore, and you must have a working internet connection. For data sharing, the person that scored the game must do an Options -> Export and get a "Successful" message meaning the data made it to the iScore server. The second person can then use data sharing to retrieve the data. See the following link in the iScore documentation for more information on data sharing:

Yup. We checked. He had iscorecast on. He had a good signal. Then he exported and received a successful export response. I went into data sharing with his id and password and the game does not show up. I'll check your links to see if I'm missing something else. Thanks

I have to agree, it sounds like coach 2, did not have a quality internet connection and iscorecast enable.

If that was not the issue, my second thought was perhaps using the wrong URL.. the link may be associated with the first device. If you still can not see the game, (in replay mode) post URLs, and i can try and decipher more clearly.

Perhaps you already have the game on Device 1,? If you already transferred the game between devices (pre game for example) it won't show up .. (eg post game).

Well I figured out why I couldn't get data from his ipad. I had created the game on my ipad, and he had it on his too. SO when I tried to retrieve the game from his device, it thought I already had the game. SO I deleted the unplayed game on my ipad, and the data share worked. I know have the complete game that was played. When I exported, it went to my website. NOw we just have to figure out why his device wasn't broadcasting. Thanks for the comments and taking the time.

yeah on figuring out data sharing problem.

perhaps the remote viewers were going to the web site url associated with ipad 1 . which had the game loaded as you now mention, but not scoreing so "waiting to start" would make sense. device2 would have a different URL for its game index and unique create a different URL for the game . . only one device can update a "purchase, Team Web Site" (Roster, Stats, Games pages). However, Two devices Can update a "scoreboard" if registered to same master account. to learn about scoreboards viewtopic.php?f=6&t=8064

If you describe, the web site situation in more detail, may be able to help more.. b/c . the Saw the game on top then logged in is an odd sequence . there are "scoreboards" you can click to go to scorecast, but generally they do not require a log in.
