Switching pitchers or positions in ISCORE

I use an IPAD for iscore and have been unsuccessful in switching defensive positions. My other coach also uses an IPAD and he has no luck. Both of us have follwoed the step by step instructions on how to compelte but no luck. Has anyone run into this issue with the IPAD? My older son;s coach uses he android version and works great. He tried the same steps on my ipad and could not get it to work either. Any suggestions would be great.
