I was reviewing stats for a 7 inning game and discovered a total of 22 putouts. After much analysis, I found a fielder's choice that did not result in an out, but it was added as a putout (and maybe even an assist {?} ) on the play. As it turns out, I had another game yesterday that had an FC that didn't result in an out and again it added a putout.
Is there a way to score an FC without it crediting a putout?
To test this, I went to stats mid game, pressed Recalc, noted putout totals, scored the FC, and went back, pressed Recalc, and it adds a putout.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Fielder's Choice with no out results in putout
When entering a FC that has no outs, you should not be entering any "touches". You will notice the screen asking for who fielded the ball on the FC asks for the players involved in making OUTS. In your case, no outs were made, so do not select any players when it asks for who made the outs.
This type of scenario is covered in the iScore Documentation here:

(and is highlighted in the "yellow background" note in that section as well)

Re: Fielder's Choice with no out results in putout
Thanks for the tip. Will do. I see the documentation and the highlight. Is it possible on the screen to add a highlighted sentence after it says Only include positions involved with making the out(s), that says IF NO outs were made, do not press any fielders, just press Done.
I admit, if I read the whole thing on that screen I would probably realize that, and adding another sentence may not help, but if it was in bold or highlighted, I might have. Just a thought. (Since I now know this, the modification wouldn't be for me, but it might be helpful for others that don't know it.)
