name keeps disappearing from team roster

name keeps disappearing from team roster

When I go to my team manager, I have on player who's number is listed but name is not. I have entered his name about 6 times and saved. His name will appear at first but after I go back in and check the roster a couple minutes later, the name is gone again. Also whne I print out the stats, this player has pitched and the name filed is blank on the stats page. What is going on here??

unexpected..


what is the name (first and last) and player number? also what version of iScore are you using (latest is version 2.1)?

an earlier version had some disappearing players with numbers in their names when created by quick roster, but that has been corrected

Player name if Bryan Jernigan and the number is 7.

Check your league settings for that player. Make sure he is one of the Leagues you currently have activated. When a player is in a league that is not currently active, his name will not appear.

I checked the leages for the player and default was not selected. I selected the leage default then went to his name in the team roster and found it blank. The number 7 was there for his number but the name fields were blank. I added it one more time and selected done. The roster list came up. I selected another player, his player info screen came up fully populated. I selected done and the roster list came up with #7 player name info missing. I selected player 7, entered his name, selected done, saaw that in the Roster screen he is there. Selected his name again, and once again the name fields are blank!! What is going on here?? By the way I updated to v2.1 and that is what I am currently running.

If you can export your database to us (Options menu, Export), and email us your customer ID (bottom left of Options screen) to support@fasterthanmonkeys.com, we will take a look at your database to see what is happening. Please tell us which team/player to look at in the email. Thank you.

Name keeps showing as: (null)

I was entering a "New Team" this weekend, not using "quick roster", as I had time to enter via "Add Team".
I noticed that when I entered Player Names, Last Name only, and Player Numbers & Positions...
It would take entry but when I went to add the next Player, it showed the previous Player I entered as (null) with the correct Player Number???
ALSO.... During the Game, there was a switch of players and I tapped on the "Batter" and the top of the screen that shows the batting order, would not show up???? I then had to go to "edit lineup" to access??
Am I doing something wrong?

If you could export your database to us (Options menu, Export), and email us your customer ID (bottom left of options menu) to [url=mailto:support@fasterthanmonkeys.com]support@fasterthanmonkeys.com[/url], we can take a look at your data to see what might be causing the issue.


In the email, please include a description of your problem (so we are sure it is you), and please also include the version of iScore you are using (version number shows on the main menu of iScore), the type of device you are using (iPod Touch? iPhone 3G? iPhone 3Gs?), the version of the iPhone OS you are using (2.2, 2.2.1, 3.0, 3.1.0, 3.1.1, 3.1.2, ???), and include whether or not your phone is jailbroken (we have had issues in the past with jailbroken phones not working, but we think our most recent update addressed that issue, but we can't be 100% sure as the jailbroken devices are not running a controlled build the way updates from Apple are).
