Recalling graphic showing hit location in previous at bats?
Recalling graphic showing hit location in previous at bats?
Once a team has batted thru their lineup once, a graphic appears at the beginning of each new "at bat" showing where the batter hit the ball during his previous "at bat". However, once you record a pitch, the graphic disappears. Is there a way to recall this graphic screen during the middle of an "at bat" or at any other point during or after a game without going to the scorecard? Also, is it possible to recall this same graphic on a seasonal cumulative basis rather than just per game?

Just tap the area to the left of the batter where the "1 for 2" comes up, and it will toggle the spray chart on/off.
We don't currently have a way to see the spray charts on a cumulative basis, but will likely be adding such a feature in the future.

Thanks for the reply.
Is there anyway to see the spray charts for an offensive player not currently at bat? It would be helpful to me as a coach as I'm determining my defensive assignments at the half inning break to see where the upcoming opponents batters hit the ball last time at bat.
Would really like to see the spray chart for seasonal analysis in future updates to iScore. I think they would be very helpful from a coaching standpoint as I prepare my pitching assignments for upcoming league games. It could also be very helpful in a recreational league as coaches prepare to draft players to have this type of information available in facilitate a coach putting together a winning team.
One final comment I thought the developers would be interested in hearing. I was showing my brother the iScore app who also runs a tournament team. He was amazed at the combination of functionality and ease of use of the app. (I actually hold my iphone on the field and score the game while coaching third as the manager.) His comment was, "this app is like the invention of the gun for the old west, it makes all men equal" The point being it used to be the domain of coaches with great memories to make offensive and defensive switches to best match their opponent. Now, with iScore, even the dumbest of managers have a tool available to quickly see how to adjust their players to best match their opponents. And this feedback is live and instantaneous, available on the field at the touch of a finger.

Re: Recalling graphic showing hit location in previous at bats?
Thank you to you and your brother for the kind words.
We have plans to continue adding more spray chart functionality on our list of priorities --- both an in-game way of viewing batters even when not at bat, and as a post game analysis tool. Thank you for voicing your vote to up the priority on those items.
