refresh scorecard
refresh scorecard
I scored a game this weekend, then emailed the scorecard to myself. After reviewing the scorecard I realized I had the wrong pitcher listed as starting pitcher. This meant that the stats were wrong as well.
I made the correction in iScore and now the stats as reported in iScore, and the scorecard when viewed on my tablet are both correct. I emailed the updated stats and scorecard and now the stats are correct, but the scorecard is the original version with the wrong starting pitcher. How can I force iScore to refresh the scorecard so that it emails the corrected version?
Thanks,
-phil

Re: refresh scorecard
Emailing is the way to get the scorecard to the server. You can try emailing the scorecard to "web" as the destination email to just update the server.

Re: refresh scorecard
I emailed the scorecard to myself multiple times (once before fixing the starting pitcher and at least 4 times after the fix) but the scorecard did not update. In other words, the scorecard as viewed in my tablet, and the scorecard mailed from the server, did not match. I'll try emailing to web to see if that works.FTMSupport wrote:Emailing is the way to get the scorecard to the server. So how do I force an update of the scorecard then?mprusak wrote:who it gets email to is not relevant.
Re: refresh scorecard
I'm not sure why its not updating. Was just saying that sending it to web vs yourself wasnt go to change anything. Did you re-export after the correction?

Re: refresh scorecard
If you do an Options -> Export and email us your customer ID and which game is not posting the scorecard to support@iscoresports.com, we can take a look to see what is going on.

Re: refresh scorecard
Thanks for the offer. I was able to get the scorecard to update by recalculating the stats. Not sure why that worked and simply re-emailing the scorecard didn't. As of now I'm happy, I was able to get the scorecard updated.FTMSupport wrote:If you do an Options -> Export and email us your customer ID and which game is not posting the scorecard to support@iscoresports.com, we can take a look to see what is going on.
If you'd like me to send you the game link I'll be happy to, but I'm not sure it will be helpful now that I've fixed the "problem". You may be able to recreate the issue if you want to test it. All I did was score the game. After the game was ended I emailed the score card. Then I changed the starting pitcher from the game lineup dialog. I could see the corrected scorecard on my tablet, but when emailing the stats with scorecard I got the old scorecard until I did the recalc.
