Incorrect pitching statistics

I scored a game using the ipad app that was a little strange. We were scrimmaging, so we use a different pitcher for each inning. I changed player positions as usual, but the error is that the pitcher of record for the 3rd inning received the stats for the pitchers for the 1st and 2nd innings (which do not show as having pitched in the game). The pitchers for innings 4-7 are recorded correctly. What could have happened?

Also, I'm not quite certain, but I believe the catcher's stats (passed ball) are similarly in error (player replacement not updated in stats).

sounds like you may have used Misc->Show Starting Lineup to make changes instead of substitution.

Oh! You are exactly right as we were home team and I didn't have our batting order yet. So, I used the starting line up screen to adjust the lineup and positions. So, this screen is to only be used before the game begins?

It can be used anytime, but it has a different purpose. By using this option, you are telling iScore that I had the wrong player in the lineup from the beginning. It is not a substitution, but rather a tool to correct the starting lineup.

This can be corrected in Pitch-by-Pitch/Edit Game (in Game Info screen).

First go to first entry in play-by-play "Game Starts" - edit the starting lineup back to what it should be.
Then find point in game where substitution took place and click on that play and the edit: substitution.
(note, that you can jump to start of each inning at top of pitch-by-pitch screen)
