9th inning missing in box score

Post by jcbeckman » Thu Sep 24, 2009 5:22 pm

Just ran a game where the home team was winning in the 9th. Visitors go down 1 2 3. iScore correctly ends the game without bringing the home team up. But box score only shows 8 innings! Scorecard is correct with visitor's 9th inning. Home pitcher does show 9 IP.

I have already exported the database, game is 9/24/09 1984 Califonia Angels at 1984 Detroit Tigers. My customer # is 12B4897F24.

We have this fixed for our next release. All stats, etc will be correct. The box score just does not update correctly. We will have an online "newspaper style box score" up soon (hoping next few days), and you can use that to see the correct box scores in this scenario until that release comes out.

If you can not wait, and want to have the correct box score now, another way to get it to show the box score correctly would be this:

1. Make a note of how the last pitch of the game was recorded.
2. Go to Game Manager, and click the game in question
3. Click the Play button in the upper right corner.
4. Click undo to undo the last play of the game and get rid of the "Game Over" message
5. Click the game options button in the bottom right corner of the scoring screen.
6. Change the Innings entry to 10
7. Exit iScore
8. Go back in to score the game again, and re-enter the last play of the game
9. Click Misc, End Game

Now the box score should show correctly.

If you can wait for the next release, or if the online version of box score will suffice, then none of the above is necessary.

Great! I can wait, this is just a "preseason" game for me as I warm up for starting up a "real" schedule.
