My score keeper use her device to score both baseball and softball, in doing so a large majority of my games were recorded as softball.
I am using stat fame and this is how I found the issue. My players were showing up twice on that site. I emailed Andy and he gave me a few suggestion such as going back into all games that were scored as softball and undoing the final at bat, then adding a ball or strike so that the game data changed. Doing this we hoped would correct the issue once I changed the ga,e type to baseball, made the additional play change then re export to the servers.
This did not affect the data in a way to Change the game type, but now on my device it shows all 24 games being played as baseball.
How cani update what is on the server as far as game type?
Does it take a more drastic change in order to be recognized as a update?
I would have posted this in stat fame section but I think we may need some input here
Thanks
Jay

Re: Baseball/ softball
To change a game from "baseball" to "softball" for that purpose, go to Game Manager, select the game, select Play, note what the last play was and Undo it, tap the Options button in the bottom right and change the game to be Softball, now select a softball pitch type for the last pitch and re-enter the last pitch. This will force the feed that goes to StatFame to know the game was a softball type.
After doing this, do an Options -> Export to send the data to our server.
If this does not update StatFame, you should contact them and ask them to reprocess the game as it should now be a softball type game.

Re: Baseball/ softball
Let's see what we can do here @Jay!
@FTMSupport - we have fixed a handful this exact same way as you've described above, so we know the process works, but on the iScore servers the games are still showing as "softball". Is there any way to force it to change on your end? It seems the first 4 games on his device are all properly labeled as baseball, whereas the last 20 or so are all softball, and show up in the feed as such: <GAME guid="CE5BDBCC-64A4-4117-B8D9-E5128B7EB24D" name="5/12/12 Rock Hill Hitting Facility at Carolina Pride " version="2" mode="softball">
This game is showing up properly as a baseball game: ...&cg=Dd47abc4de&gg=677365A8-1D37-43C4-B9BE-6605C9385CDF
Whereas this one is showing up as softball, but should be baseball: ...Dd47abc4de&gg=CE5BDBCC-64A4-4117-B8D9-E5128B7EB24D
All his games are pulling but both sport types are showing up in his player pages as these game types as you switch between softball and baseball (which is the proper data from the iScore feeds):
http://statfame.com/Public/Player.aspx? ... 0B19CBD4C7" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Thoughts?

Re: Baseball/ softball
If you email us the link you are using to pull a game that should be baseball but is coming back softball, we can take a look. If there is any softball pitch recorded for the game, it is treated as softball. Email us at the address you usually contact us at and we can take a look.

Re: Baseball/ softball
Just closing the loop here as we got it figured out!
To force it to re-pull the data to our servers:
Open the game up, click “play” in the top right.
Click “undo” in the bottom middle, to reverse the last play, and add a “foul ball” (or strike, or whatever, just so the game data changes).
Replay the last out (as the person clearly had to get out to end the game). The game should end.
Is your device set to score a baseball game instead of softball?
Exit the scoring window.
Go to “Options” and “export” again.
We should see the update on StatFame.com within the hour after that!
