RBIs (or not RBIs) and printable box scores

Post by nforeman16 » Fri May 25, 2012 9:24 am

I have noticed on more than one occassion that RBIs are given in situations that they should not be given. For example, with two outs and runners on second and third, a batter reached base on an error and the two runners scored. These should not be RBIs, but two RBIs were credited.
Also, I have a Droid Bionic and was wondering if there is a way to print out a box score from games tracked on this device. Am I just missing the way to do this or is this not an option?
I am a relatively new user, but I really enjoy the application. Thanks!

RBIs will be credited or not credited based on how you scored the play. In your example you would need to score the runners as advancing on the error (not advanced by batter). Then no RBI's will be credited. The app can only use the information the user gives it.

You can email the box score to yourself and print it. From game manager, select the game, and hit the email button from with the game info page.

Thanks for the input. When I email the game to myself, I get everything except a traditional box score. I get the score card, home stats (batting, fielding and pitching), visitor stats, and the excel version of the stats.

If you are using iOS, a traditional box score is included as one of the things that get emailed. With Android, we do not yet have that feature. You can view the traditional box score on the Admin Website (http://my.iscorecentral.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;).
