Editing Batters During Game

Post by tiger2deuce » Sun Apr 29, 2012 6:21 am

Hi, yesterday I had an opposing coach provide a lineup card that had 10 players listed. I entered 10 in iScore and then after they had batted around, I noticed they only had 9 batting. So, I deleted a batter from the lineup screen to start the 2nd inning. However, an at-bat still showed up for the 10th batter, which caused the stats for the other batters in the lineup to be one batter behind (ie batter 1 walked, but it shows up as a walk for batter 10, and then batter 2 got a basehit, but it shows up as a basehit for batter 1, etc). Is there a way to delete a batter in game so that this does not happen? Is there a way now that I can delete the one at-bat that shows up for the 10th batter and show the stats correctly or will I need to rescore the game? Thank you for your time ... love the app!!

You have to delete the batter before they come to the plate. All at bats are stored against the lineup position so you can make substitutions later if you missed a substitution. Once you have entered an at bat against the 10th lineup position, the only way to get rid of it would be to Undo back to that point in the game, and re-score from that point forward. If you caught up by using Skip Batter at some point during scoring, it may be worth it to just edit the stats directly. If you never got back in sync, you are probably best off just rescoring the game. Here is a link to all the different ways to edit post game:
