Transmission failed

In a jam...

Currently at fields, about to score game. I can export but cannot broadcast. I have it turned on as well as twitter cast. When I go into game and attempt to sync, it tells me "transmission failed". I'm using a Verizon broadband card and an iPad. I've even attempted to use my iPhone as modem and same issue.

There is no need to "attempt to sync". Just start scoring the game and the events are sent up to the iScorecast server as long as you have an internet connection.

Before the game has started, if you try and iscorecast synch, you get the 'transmission failure error' ..nothing is wrong, you may think it is a connection issue, it is just the way the program works..

Suggestion to developers....
Perhaps allow this synch to happen or provide a better message box.."iscore sych not available until game has started'. It is not a connection error as the failed transmission message suggests..

I got that today on a buddy's iscorecast, but not on mine.

The message is on version 3.5 for iOS...I am not sure same message on android..

I don't know if it's an issue. I was just stating that I had two iPads on same network and one had the error and one didn't.

The message occurs when you try and do an "i-ScoreCast Synchronize" before scoring any plays for the game. We have made a change for the update we just submitted to Apple to make this message more clear instead of just being "Transmission Failure" in this case.
