Leagues Assignments and Game Data on Website

Post by CoachRon » Thu Jun 23, 2011 8:31 am

Can somebody help: I have a team with a team website. I have that team assigned to a number of various leagues---regular season, tournaments, etc. I also have a league named Scrimmage. The team is not assigned to the Scrimmage league. I created the Scrimmage league so I could score scrimmage games, but not have the scrimmage game stats included in the season stats on the website. We played a scrimmage game last weekend and I set the game up with our team and the other team in Game Manager, and in the Leagues section I checked only the Scrimmage league.

After the game, I exported data to the website. The Scrimmage league does not appear in the drop down leagues on the Statistics page (good), however the game and stats from the game are included in the season stats for all the players when (All) Leagues is chosen (bad). That's what I was trying to avoid. When I select a player for game-by-game stats, the scrimmage game does show up.

Have I done something wrong or is this a software issue or is what I am trying to do not possible?

Not sure you are going to like this answer, but easiest way to fix in the short run is to Make another league Call it ALL 2011 SEASON (or something equally descriptive).. and put in that league only the games that count..

Every game for a team is going to be available on the website in the "All" league. As OhioTex suggests, you should create a league called "Season" or something similar, and include all games you want to be seen by default in that league. Be sure to add that league to your TEAM as well as to the games, and do an Export.

You can then go to Settings for your website, and make the "Season" league the default for the site.

Got it...thx. The other way I figured was to create a second team just for scrimmages.
