Changed Winning Pitcher on Game

Post by reedsburgsports » Thu Apr 14, 2011 6:31 pm

I changed the winning pitcher for a game after it had been exported. I recalculated and exported after updating the game on the ipad, but the winning pitcher did not change on the website.

Any time you do an Options->Export and get a "Successful" message, your website should reflect the data on your device. Did you get a "Successful" message when doing the export? That is the only reason we can think of that they would not match. If you do the export, get "Successful", and still see a difference, then if you can email us your customer ID to support@iscoresports.com and tell us which game you are seeing the discrepancy, and where you are looking on the website, we can take a look to see what is going on.

Hello - i'm new to the board and new to the iscore program. i scored a game today and used iscorecast. the pitchers are accurate on my ipad 2. however, after iscorecasting, exporting, emailing scorecard...etc..., i went out on our website and on the iscorecast site and it has our closer pitching the first inning. our closer pitched the last inning. our starter pitched the first 3. it IS correct on my ipad, though. any thoughts?

I suspect it is not correct on your ipad.I suspect you changed the starting Line up vs subing in closer . Review Pitch by pitch events to fix.... game start line up and the substitution points to straighten it out. Then re export and sync iscorecast and email your self
A new scorecard . The web site will reflect your last export

thank you for the response. i looked at pitch by pitch last night before posting and it shows the correct starting lineup. when i subbed the closer...all i did was click on the starting pitcher and the lineup came up...i then clicked on the closer and hit save. he showed up as pitcher with a question mark at SS, which was his position before i subbed him in. then, i clicked on SS/? and subbed back in our starting pitcher....basically they just switched positions. the reason i think it's right on the ipad is that when i go to pitching stats for our team in that game on the ipad, it has the right information in the correct order. the closer pitched after our starter....starter pitched 3 innings, closer pitched 1. when i go to the website, it is backwards. our closer is listed first. i just emailed myself the scorecard and it is correct. i just exported it again...under stats related to the game in question...under pitching, all of a sudden, the closer is listed first and the starter is listed second. closer is listed as pitching 1 inning and starter is listed as pitching 3. it looks like it just switched the order. the online scorecard is correct, assuming the first pitcher listed is being used as the starter...however, i just went to the iscorecast again and it has our closer in the field as starting pitcher. sorry for the long message...i appreciate the help...

Hello again. It happened again today. There must be something I'm doing wrong. When our closer is pitching and the game ends, I go to misc and hit end game. Is there something I need to do before punching end game to correct this situation?

If you can do an Optons->Export and email us your customer ID (found on Options screen) to support@iscoresports.com and let us know which game and player you are seeing an issue with, we will take a look at your data.

thanks for the extra detail, I can not see the "root cause" from your description, (sorry). FTM will need to give it a look. also be sure you "synch iscorecast" after making any edits in pitch by pitch.
