Preset fielding substitutions not always working

I just tried it and got the same thing you did.

I'm on an iPad.

What I notice is that the defensive positions are displayed from the previous inning and the pitch by pitch display on the upper right column does not display that the substitution took place.

As you noted if you exit out, when you come back in the field positions are updated.

I also just tapped "out" then cancel and that was enough to show the substitution event in the pitch by pitch display on the upper right and the new defensive positions are displayed.

It looks like FTM will have to look at this one.

It actually appears the substitution event is held until another event occurs. If I do a strike, ball, foul, out or in play, it seems the substitution event is pushed to the interface at that point.

Right, there has to be another event. Trouble is I've already ended the inning. Everything refreshes except the field...the bug is not quite fixed.
