Pitch count discrepancy in iPad app

Post by bacolon » Mon Feb 14, 2011 12:07 pm

I was scoring a game, incorrectly subbed the pitcher and then caught my error. I went back to pitch by pitch and put back the pitcher I had in the game originally at the point where I incorrectly pulled him out. The stats page shows the correct number of pitches for him (30), but the line up summary (near the top left of the app) shows only 24 pitches for him. I stopped scoring the game because I missed too many pitches trying to figure out the discrepancy.

If you ever make an incorrect substitution in the future, just continue scoring. You can correct substitution mistakes after a game is over by going to Game Manager, selecting the game, selecting Pitch by Pitch, then going to the point in the game where the correct substitution should have occurred. Tap that pitch, then tap "Edit" next to Substitutions, and you can put in the correct player at that point in the game. All statistics will automatically be updated to reflect the correct numbers when you do this.
