Sorry if this has been answered before...
I was trying to share data from my iPhone to my friends iPad... it didn't work. Both devices were in discoverable modes and neither recognized one another. Can it be done between the two different devices?

I don't think you can transfer from iPhone to iPad due to the base program being different for the 2 devices. The data can be downloaded to either device via the internet. I added a link to help from the Frequently asked forum.

Data shareing by bluetooth does not work iPhone to iPad. Need to use data sharing by web database. The issue looks to be one of apples implementation of Bluetooth. As long as you can connect to the Internet the web database sharing is fast and simple
