Video Scoring overlay

For the last 2 seasons, we have been video recording our travel teams games (both baseball and softball) and iScoring them after the fact. Something that would be awesome, and I realize this probably would mean a separate system, is a scoring app that was embedded into video playback. The operator would score the game during the video playback and all of the data could be time-stamped to the video frame related to that stat. So as the end users would play the video back, it would look like a live professionally broadcasted game. The pitch count, inning, and score would be shown as an overlay, much like you do in scorecast; but with real video.

Right now I get stats and and get video playback, in 2 detatched processes. It would be so nice to merge the 2 together. With the GoPro cameras that we use, you can see all of the field behind the backstop so you wouldn't miss anything with just one camera. See an example below (we did use 2 cameras in this case...but not required):

We have a "scoreboard overlay" for video streams that we have been using for a couple of years now. It puts the score, players on base, innings, and outs on the screen. It can't show pitch counts because of inherent delays, but provides a very professional looking experience. If you email us at support@iscoresports.com, we can give you the information to do this on your own.

You can see an example of the overlay in the following video from the 2013 Pony World Series:

That certainly is a possibility, but I still like the idea of scoring with video after the game. I find that when I score the game from the confines of my desk at home, there is only one parent that questions my calls. And I change it to whatever she says anyhow. :-)
