Requests for the scorebook

I realize the scorebook can't capture everything in the pitch-by-pitch but as I was re-scoring a game last night a couple of things came to mind:
- Would it be possible to show strike-because-of-foul in a different color to distinguish them from strikes and swinging strikes?
- Could a bunt or bunted-out be noted in some way?

Both of those would be helpful for a re-scoring scenario but, I think, could also be handy during a game. Of course what I *really* want for post-game is a way to see the pitch-by-pitch somewhere other than the iPhone screen.

on fouls...

the idea of color codeing the bunts (and intentional balls / pitch outs) is a subtle but interesting idea.

I assume you already know.. you will get an x off to the left for each foul beyond strike two.. and x will turn into a number (F#) if many are hit... Swinging strikes is indicated with a shading of the strike box.

on bunts

you have special notation for SAC bunt already, as far as a bunt out, i generally show place hit as a nubber and score as appropriate the fielders eg 2-3.. and get SAC 2-3.

We also do differentiate between fouls and swinging strikes on the other two strikes on the scorecard as well.. it is subtle, but one is shaded slightly orange, and one is shaded more yellow.

Are foulballs "slightly orange" or 'slightly yellow" and conversely which are swinging strikes? Can you make the color differentialtion greater in future releases?

Foul balls are yellow/orange, strike swinging is red. We have actually had a request to make the foul balls show as an "F" in the box in addition to being color coded which will allow black and white printing to show the foul balls distinctly as well. This is likely the solution we will be putting in.

How do you record a swinging strike? I just see the "Strike" and "Ball" buttons. Is this on the "pitch position" screen?

Place your finger on the Strike button, and slide your finger up (kind of like swining). It will record as Strike Swinging.
