team stats - include positions

Post by Afjb » Thu Jun 20, 2013 8:40 pm

Hi, this request would encompass all your sports, but can you add the position of the player when emailing team stats? It would help when combining these stats in Excel when calculating leaders by position.

Thanks in advance.

The baseball stats include stats by fielding position. At youth levels, many players play multiple positions, so including a single position on the team stats doesn't really seem to make as much sense as including the stats at each possible position as we do. If a lot of people start requesting this feature, we can add it.

Thanks. I don't think I worded my question correctly. On the roster, it shows what position(s) the player is assigned to. All I am asking is when we download the team stats, the position that we have noted for the player is next to the player name in its own column, similar to the player number. So when you download the team stats, the first few headings would be:

# Name Pos G....etc...
10 john Smith 2B 2

Something like that. EDIT: It's not formatting well in the final version, but basically it's a column just showing the position similar to the player name, number, etc.

Hope that clarifies it better.
