Swipe function

Would it be possible to have the swipe function do what the normal button press would do if no swipe function exists for that button? For veteran users, this might not matter, but swiping where no swipe function exists does nothing, and it would save time if it would just do what the button does. (For instance the In Play button.)

Why would you want to swipe the In Play button instead of just tapping it?

I don't. It's just a bad habit from the other buttons, but I just thought it might help save time for those who do it by mistake. Candidly, I find myself doing it more than I'd like, by habit. In fact, when I do it, sometimes I do it twice thinking I missed the swipe. I imagine I'm not the only one, but if it could just act like the normal press it would help.
