Live streaming to a scoreboard

I am the head groundskeeper at a large youth baseball complex. We are looking at replacing our scoreboards on 3 of our fields. NEVCO scoreboards now offers the ability to stream scores from their scoreboard to an iPhone/Droid app to keep fans updated on the score. I have used iScore for many years now and started wondering last year if there would be a way to integrate iScore with the scoreboard on the field. Our current scoreboards are all driven by wireless transmitters and I am wondering if iScore could do it.

Their process is actually the opposite approach, but very slick. I think it may be a very worthwhile conversation between FTM and NEVCO to see if that kind of integration is doable.

When my sons were younger, we often played on small fields that were smaller. I could see a small portable scoreboard, driven by iScore app, being taken to fields and viola, you have a scoreboard.

Just some thinking on technology.

This is a topic that has come up several times.

FTM has always said they would be receptive to trying to incorporate this technology with a willing scoreboard manufacturer.

If you search for 'scoreboard' on these forums, you will see a number of the threads...

I would call NEVCO in a heartbeat if I were FTM. I just had a very lengthy conversation with them about technology and scoreboards.

Thank you for the suggestion. We are open to any scoreboard vendors that want to contact us about integration.
