Pitcher faced

When looking at batting stats on a player card it would be great to be able to see who the pitcher they faced was. I currently see no way of easily finding this data.

If you review the pitch by pitch listing, the iScorecast, or even the Scorecard, you can see the pitchers that batters faced.

I'm talking about during a game. If I see a player has gone 8 for 20 against us it might influence my coaching decision. If, however, I saw that on the majority of occasions he faced a pitcher that I only pitch in mop-up situations or meaningless games I might think differently. I don't see an easy way to do this while in the midst of scoring a game.

That is correct, you can not do that while scoring a game. In fact, most rules disallow software being used this way during a game for coaching decisions.

There are two 3rd parties that can provide this information for your iScore data --- EdgeHQ.com and TruMedia (add on for iPad). You can print the reports from these packages and bring them with you into a dugout (no rules against paper), but it is likely against the league rules to use interactive software to do it (though if your league does allow it, both of these packages are accessible at any time with an internet connection).
