Ability to adding ! and ? to defensive plays

When I score a game, I like to make comments about great plays and poor plays with ! and ?
So a great play where the third baseman almost throws it away but the first baseman makes a great scoop would be
5? - 3!
Usually I just have the comment or one on the other. I just watched Jacoby Ellsbury make a great catch on the game I'm watching. I'd like to score it: 8!
---
I think this could be done by allowing the user to press the same position number several times in a row. Today, if I press the 8 three times in a row while scoring I'll get 8-8-8 which makes no sense.
It would be better if the extra presses would cycle. So i'd get 8 then 8! then 8? then 8 again. Since it never makes sense to score a play 3-3, for example, this would actually reduce a source of errors.
What do you think?
