Contact Info in Box Score

Thank you so much for all of the great features in this program.

I've been using iScore for a couple of years to keep track of stats, but this is the first year that I'm sending box scores into the newspapers for our team. I am so glad that we are able to send the box score directly from the iPad, especially since some of our night games end within minutes of the newspaper deadline. A request regarding the box, however.

The "Notes" field only allows for one continuous line of text. There are several bits of information that I would like to include in this area and it would much easier for the reporters/editors to view it if I could include a "hard return" and put them on separate lines.

Being able to do separate lines would solve the issue, but it might be easier to add a couple of more single line fields. Here is the information that I would like to put in:

* Umpires (this doesn't need to go in the box, but we like to keep a record of who umpired which game so the coach can go back and complete his evaluations for the state association)
* Contact Information (just an e-mail address. iScore sends the box through an anonymous remailer, so the reporter/editor has no idea where it is coming from or who to contact if they have any questions.)
* Team Win-Loss record
* Next Game

We will add your suggestions to our enhancement list for future prioritization. In the meantime, you can put commas between data in notes and use upper / lower case to help delimit labels / values (e.g. UMPIRES: Fred, Joe, CONTACT: me@somewhere.com, WIN-LOSS: 10-2, NEXT GAME: 6/9/2012 @ 2:00pm)

Thanks for putting it in the hopper, and thanks for the suggestion.

Eureka! I don't know why I didn't think of this earlier... The box score is e-mailed after it is parsed into HTML. All I had to do to get my line breaks was to enter the HTML code for a line break (<br>) in between bits of info in the notes section and it divided everything into lines in the e-mail.
