Player Manager option to sort by first name

It would be handy in the Player Manager (or when adding a player to the lineup) to be able to sort the list of players either by last name or first name. In a Little League with 100 kids or so, I may know a player is Tom something, and I'll recognise the surname when I see it, but for now I have to scroll through all 100 names to find the Toms and pick the right one. Could there be an option button to toggle the sorting order ?

(Apologies if this can be done or has been suggested - a search didn't show anything up)
