Defensive inning played

We normally have a continuous batting lineup which means we have free substitution. It would be nice to have a stat on how many innings of defense a child has played and how many innings they were available to play and from that give a innings played as a percentage. This helps me as a coach to make sure the kids are getting the time on defense I feel is warrented on a season pespective. Additionaly, it provides me with analytical amunition, if necessary, when dealing with the parents. I have always tracked this stat when I was keeping score the old school way, which I will never do again. I love iScore!

If you email yourself the "player card" for a player, it has some defensive position stats (innings appeared, starts, etc by inning).

Thank you, that almost gives me everything I was looking for, or at least the ability to derive it. The one thing I don't have is the number of innings available to play. I know this may seem trivial but it can lead to bad conclusions without it. For example, we have played 6 games this year and one of my kids has missed two of them. With the information I have at my finger tips I see from the player card he played 8 innings in four games and I know we play 7 inning games. That information would lead me to belive he was only playing defense .285 percent of the time. The fact is that due to time and/or mercy rules each game he played went only 4 innings, so his actual Inning's Played Defensively (IPD) percentage is .500. Also, if a kid arrives late or leaves early that has an impact on the story.
A couple other suggestions, it would be nice to see all the information avilable, via E-mail of the player card, on the GUI. Also, it would be nice if the player card was full screen.
Very cool that I can see the number of innings at each position per player.

We will likely never track "late arrivals" or "leaving early", so there will always be a manual aspect to what you are trying to do. The statistics are more about tracking what a player did, not what a player didn't do when not in a game, so we will also not likely be tracking "innings a player could have played in if they showed up for all the games and played every inning of the game".
Thank you for the suggestions.
