More than one Twitter Account

Post by tbmartin » Mon Jan 16, 2012 7:35 am

I've started using the Twitter feature to send updates to parents that can't be at the game for my Daughters' Teams - yes, two daughters, two teams. I need an easy way to set the twitter account for each of the teams - parents from one team don't want tweets from the other team. I have set up two twitter accounts, one for each team - but it's cumbersome to switch twitter accounts between games. Being able to link a twitter account to a team would be awesome - such that if that team is being scored, the tweet feature uses the account associated with that team. But, even if two (or more) accounts could be stored somewhere and I just have to select which one, that would be infinitely easier than having to deauthorize and reauthorize each time.

P.S. I think the tweet format could be better - I think all the braces clutter up the information - it's ok once you get used to it, but it does take some time to get used to. Why not separate with spaces or commas - it might improve readability.

I use the email game link and email my self. Then at home I have different distribution lists. If it sees a certain team in the text it forwards the email to certain people. That way I only have to type in one name at the ball field. Although I sure would love for it to automatically have last email address already entered so I don't have to type it every time. Start of the game is always so darn hectic as it is.

You could probably do something like that with tweets.
