Play by Play

You know, I was talking to a friend of mine and we were talking about the play-by-play function in the app vs. the PBP on the my.iscore website. Why can't the PBP be as good on the website as it is on the iPad? Instead of seeing "Groundout" we would see "Batter Z grounded out 2nd baseman X to 1st baseman Y". Just a thought. Thanks again for an awesome app.

They serve two different purposes. Play by Play is a very condensed version. Pitch by Pitch is the complete listing. If you view the iScorecast, you will see the fully expanded text just like you do in the Play by Play on the device.

Fair enough. That makes sense. I just wanted to be able to copy/paste the PBP from one thing to another. Is there a way to do that from the iScorecast?

There is not currently a way to copy/paste from the iScorecast. We will have an update to iScorecast that will allow this for the spring season.

Oooo la la.. An Iscorecast update coming in the spring..Can't wait.. .. Just more evidence why this product and its developers support rocks..

yes! looking forward to this...definitely think there is opportunity to take iscorecast to the next level.
