Team Colors

I like the ability to add a team color when creating a new team. It would be even better if we were given the ability to add a second color. Most teams we play have 2 primary colors. They might wear orange with blue letters on Saturday and blue with orange letters on Sunday.

Not a biggie... just would make a cool feature even cooler.

Thanks!

Why do they ask for color? Is it shown anywhere? I enter it on the teams, but I never figured out where it is seen again.

Thank you for the suggestion Danger... we will add it to our list.

We use the colors in several places, but one of the most obvious / useful is in the pitch by pitch listing. It becomes much easier to tell which team is batting when quickly scrolling through the list.

I use color a lot because, with the travel ball, there are opposing teams with the same names. There are about four different "Crush" teams, so when I'm choosing an opponent as I set up the game, I can say "Oh, that's the orange Crush team so I need to select THIS team."

Where my suggestion comes into play is when we don't see that same Crush team until Sunday and they've worn their blue uniforms, so I don't recognize them and accidentally set them up as a new team.

But where is it orange? I guess I just haven't noticed colors being used. Is this on the website or the iPad?

You set the colors under the Team Manager button. You can see it most prominently under the pitch-by-pitch button when you are scrolling thru the sequence of events. It helps to quickly find the spot where one team's inning ends and the other team's begins.

I actually use the colors more often, as noted above, to determine exactly which version of a team we are playing. "Is this the older Heat team with red coloring or the younger Heat team with burnt orange colors?" Very helpful in deciding who we are going to pitch, etc.

Oh yeah. I didn't even notice that it was team colors. I just figured it was red and grey...
