I would think a good enhancement would be batting averages against a specific pitcher. Like the pros do. When a batter comes up it will say the batting average and info for what that batter has done in the history of their meetings.
Another good one would be how pitchers have performed against a specific team. When you go to play say the Pirates you could see that Tommy Tom has the best games against the pirates so if he is in the rotation at that time you could use him and maybe not Gary Thomson since he has not performed well against the Pirates as an example.
It could also help on a lineup if you know who you will be facing and you know that one or two of your guys are not doing as well against that specific pitcher you could adjust your lineup.

There is a company called Edge HQ (http://edgehq.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) that will take iScore data and give you this type of ability. This falls more into the "analytics" area than the "scorekeeping" area however. Statistics are something we are always looking to improve, and kind of straddles the fence between what to expect from a scorekeeping application vs an analytics application, but we are not likely going to have the iScore Scorekeeper products become full analytics products.

Hi,
I am looking for the same thing, batting avg against pitchers. Although EdgeHQ is obviously a great solution, its price is (atleast for me) a bit of a problem. Is it possible to access the iscore database to extract the data myself and create it myself?

We do not have any reports right now that provide "matchup" information.
