How about having the program use the team name for the roster automatically unless you click inut roster names, or at least when you type in the name it generates the name but the batting order number that person is. a1, a2, a3, a4, a5 etc

Don't quite understand what is being asked here. We have the "Quick Roster" capability that will auto generate a roster for you already. If you watch training video part 3 at http://iscoresports.com/baseball/training.php" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, it describes Quick Roster usage.

I must have missed that part but have figured it out. One question can I swap home and visitors once the game is going and is there a quick way to input player names while the game is going.
I am going to re watch the videos now that I have played with it a little bit.

The video will cover the adding of players as the game goes on. Just before the game starts when the lineup screen appears, you can tap Options and Swap home and visitor.

You can swap home and visitors as long as the game first pitch has not started. Go to misc-starting lineup-swap teams. Once the game has started you are stuck. You can undo back to the beginning if it's just a few pitches and swap teams if you catch it early.

The easiest way to input on the go IMO is to use quick roster and then edit as you have time (usually between innings.) I usually change the player name from Player 1 to P1 (or something similar) to avoid all the backspacing. Once you have the lineup correct, be sure to go to misc-starting lineup-copy roster so that your team roster names are saved for the next time you play them.

you can swap home and away , before first pitch but not after...(Options > Swap Teams at starting line up screen)

the quickest way to get started, assuming you already have your team set up in team manager and do not know the oppoent roster is using quick roster, then later during game you can edit the names and jersey numbers as yo learn them in (misc Show starting line up)

game manager > add (upper right button),
scroll to select your team (home or away),
scroll to select opponent (if pre existing) or use New team if new

at New team screen provide team name (will be used in name of game and can be edited to any other team name later and at any time in game info screen and in team manager).

then while at new team screen, tap quick roster (bottom right button) to generate batter1,batter2,batter 3 etc

then create/save/back/exit to game manager screen, tap game, tap play (upper right) and set line ups home/visiotr and swap teams if need. (option > swap teams)

while at main scoreing screen, at any time you can edit the name of teh players in misc > show starting line up.
