Hi there, Used this for the first game last night and I am having trouble with subs between innings.

The players are taking the field and the coach comes over and say pete for paul. Which is easy to do on the defensive side but it doesn't follow through to or for the batting order, so when the inning is over the batting order shows Tim, paul, Jim even though Paul's been sitting for half the inning. Now if it was just one kid all the time i might be able to remember it but there are more like 3 changes every 2-3 innings. Is there an easier way to get that sub into the batting order at the sametime of the defensive sub. Also if i wait until the batter is up to change then the substitution inning goes with this instead of when the player actually entered the game.

On the sub screen, there is an Offense | Defense selector at the top of the sub screen. When a player is coming in, if you also know the offensive spot he will be taking, you can tap the Offense selector at the top of the screen and do the Offensive substitution at the same time. Many times at youth levels you will not know where in the offensive lineup a player belongs --- as an example, you suddenly see three new outfielders. Unless you can ask the coach, all you really know is three new people are in on defense, and you can not make the offensive substitutions until the players come to bat. In your case, it sounds like you do know, so you can make both changes at once.

I'm not very concern where the player goes in the field as I am recording that the player entered the game in the 4th inning and got his required 2 innings of play on defense. If I wait til he bats it records when he bats which may not be until the 6th. Ok I just tried going to the offense screen to make a sub. ok I'll try this next game. Thanks
