More Detail Recorded on Scorecard?
More Detail Recorded on Scorecard?
First of all I would like to say great app! I have been using the past few weeks for my daughters softball tournaments. The other coaches are loving the realtime stats. Question: Is it possible to add more detail to the scorecard printout? For example, currently there is "F1" (Representing Flyout to Pitcher). Couldn't "GO6-3" (Ground Out SS to 1st) or "LO5" (Line Out to 3rd) or "BT2-3" (Bunt Out Catcher to 1st) be added to the scorecard as well? Then on the SAFE side, indicate a base hit Bunt "BT" instead of just "1B"? FTM Team...Keep up the great work!

Re: More Detail Recorded on Scorecard?
Thank you for the suggestions.
Actually, several of the things you mention can be implied from the scorecard.
If you just see "5", that means it was a line out to third. If it was a fly out, you would see "F5". If it was an unassisted ground out, you would see "U5".
Any time you see something like "6-3" with no other indicators, it means it was a ground out (in this case, grounder to short, thrown to first).
Will look around to see if there are any standard ways of indicating these in a clearer fashion, but we believe this is the established way of scoring these types of plays. The one thing we DID get some feedback on is the lines that are drawn on the scorecard can change to indicate types of hits, and this appears to be standard. Dotted line would mean grounder, solid is line drive, curved is fly ball.
Showing bunt with a special inciator as opposed to being 1B could be a good one... we will look around to see if there are any established standards for that.
Thank you.
