Ability to enter/re-enter scoring a game at will

I'd like to suggest having the ability to start scoring a game, if its already in progress, by just entering the score to catch up. Quite frequently, I'll go watch a local game and, more times than not, an inning or two has gone by. When the game ends, a message could appear and basically say that the score is correct, but the stats are not. My suggestion could also be implemented during the game should a user of iScore go to the snackbar or restroom. It's been suggested that the iPhone could be handed off to another person for scoring continuity, but that's an impractical suggestion, particularly if you're by yourself at the ballpark. I thank you for your consideration regarding this much needed feature.

We hope to add more editing capabilities in the future, but if you search the forums, the challenges for allowing such a capability have been pretty well explained. Thank you.

I agree with you... it'd be a programming nightmare attempting to sign-off a game as "official" with incomplete stats, particularly if it's within league play.

Having said that, here's my modified suggestion:  If the scorer is a casual user such as myself, would it be possible to have an "unofficial" or "casual" mode that allows for unlimited entry/re-entry scoring of a game at will? This suggested mode would alleviate any and all software integration coding problems with previously played or future games... total isolation. By doing so, I believe this app will then satisfy the entire spectrum of scorekeepers... from serious to casual.
