E.R.A. scoring

Post by jdub » Mon May 25, 2009 2:36 pm

I would like to determine how many innings are used when calculating the ERA. I want to use this for my wiffleball league (and I imagine little league games have the same problem).

Since we are only allowed to pitch three innings in a game, I would like to use 3 innings in the ERA equation rather than the typical 9.

Thanks! It's a great program.

ERA is always based on 9 innings no matter how many innings there are in a game. In release 1.65 (should be approved any day now), there is a new ERG calculation (earned runs per game) that will give you what you are looking for. Just set the # of innings in the game to 3 for each game, and it will use that as the # of innings when calculating ERG.

Thank you.
