Every so often I see an enhancement request that threatens the delicate balance between "easy to use" and "suitable for all situations." I would like to propose an "Advanced Mode" that would enable some of these potential features that are likely to fall out of the "easy to use" category overwhelm new users. Ideally, we could have toggles for each advanced feature much like we do for per-game options (such as 'Record Hit Locations').
I'm just brainstorming here... Does anyone else think this would be a good idea or would it complicate things even more for new users?

I think i recall FTM advancing similar approach to customization with toggles.. ..
another current toggle example is softball
an idea for future consideration that i think fits in the on/off for basic/advance category would be "pitch tracking" (although it has been in the program since version 1, it seems like a good candidate for toggling on/off as a basic/advance user feature)
the idea that iscore comes in "plain vanilla mode" with certain toggles off and allows enabling more advanced features a la cart sounds like a good idea, just not sure what other advance options we have to consider.

I would like an easier way to edit a player. example: if you need to correct a player in a prior inning you have to delete the whole book up to that point. then re do it.. It needs an easier way to edit a players balls striks rbi's in a prior inning

Additional editing capabilities seems to be a continuing theme recently on the board from many users to fix/edit scorers mistakes. Certainly we are all fallible however baseball is a game in which there are many interrelated things that make el la carte editing nearly impossible. FTM has added substantial editing capabilities to accommodate our scoring shortcomings. However, with experience and learning from the scoring mistakes we make, getting it right the first time comes easier making the necessity for editing less of an issue.
Just my humble opinion.
