Base-stealing Default Base & Post-Game Editing

A man on first stole second, and I quickly scored it. When I returned to the Game screen, the man was still on first. i didi it again, and he was still on first. I finally read the stolen base screen carefully, and I noticed that the default base is first base. Yet, with most other plays, the default is the assumed base the batter will reach, which I appreciate, as it saves time. Why is the stolen base the only play that assumes a base that makes no sense? After all, you can't steal first if you are already on first. Although i don't think I'll make that mistake again, I didn't notice until the end of the game that the two plays I mistakenly recorded of a man on first stealing first got saved, and I couldn't erase them. So that player now shows 3 stolen bases in his statistics, and I can't get rid of the two extra ones. Which leads to my second request, one that will solve a lot of problems - allow editing of the plays after the game is over! Love the product, BTW!

The reason the current base is the default is because there are many options besides stolen base when you touch the runner such as pinch runner, courtesy runner and pickoff attempt. These examples all take place at the runner's current base. It would be nice to have a stolen base automatically advance the runner, but I think FTM has done a good job of balancing all the scoring needs in the screen. I did the same thing you did several times at first. Once you get used to checking the base, it becomes very natural. If you do forget, remember to hit 'Undo' to take away the 'steal' of the same base before you score it correctly.

I was not aware that a mistake of scoring a steal of the same base (i.e. a runner on first stealing first) would result in a SB in iScore. I would think that would be something that could be caught and just not credited as a SB in the stats.

Yes, we will be able to make it not credit a stolen base in that situation --- we will make sure that is on our priority list.
