Place ball for "quick outs" and fix default buttons

When using the "quick outs" feature, where you swipe "OUT" and get the list of designated ground outs, after choosing one of the outs (for example, 4-3 ground out) you're asked to place the ball. The ball defaults to wherever it was on the last play. I am asking for the ball to default at the first player position listed (near second baseman for 4-3, near SS for 6-3, etc). In many cases this means the ball placement will probably be done and we can just hit next.
Also, the buttons below seem to default to "Line Drive" instead of "Grounder." I know the proper "Grounder" goes into the scorebook, but it was a bit confusing the first couple of times I used it - I found myself changing it to a grounder before I learned to trust it would be right. So this one is just for show but may help kepp people from being confused.

In my version, (iphone v2.7) .. "touch where the ball was hit ...screen" the ball always defaults to home plate, are you sure yours defaults to last play

Yes, I've done a ton of them on my iPad (haven't used that feature on the iPhone as I don't score there much any more). Ball is always where it was on the previous play.
Even if it were always at home, that's no help.

There was actually a bug in the iPad version that made it default incorrectly. We have fixed it for v2.80 so that it defaults to home plate (i.e. no location) and defaults to Grounder just like the iPhone version. The idea of defaulting to a location near the first fielder is a good suggestion though... we will look into doing that. We don't like the idea of guessing the ball location, but for "Quick Plays", it may make sense to put the ball near the defensive player as you suggest by default, and the scorekeeper can obviously move it. Thank you.

It is sooooooo much nicer scoring on the iPad. I don't plan on scoring on my iPhone again unless something happens to the iPad.
