As the official iScore keeper for my daughter's softball team, I am constantly being asked for information on the next half inning. For example, the Coach will want to know where in the batting order the other team will be when they get up. Also, when we are batting, our Pitcher always wants to know her pitch count and number of balls and strikes. I always have to tell them to wait for the next half inning to tell them.

Is there any way to display this data ?

I know I can bring up the score book and look, but then I miss all the action.

I agree that this would be very useful. I'm a coach and scorekeeper of my son's team, and this question comes up repeatedly during a game.

The iPad version of iScore shows all of this information at all times. The iPhone version has limited screen space, so it is a bit trickier. We are adding a "recap" screen in the next release that should give you what you are looking for at any time very quickly.

I'm asked for that info a lot too. I either go to the stats or scorebook view to get the info needed. It's a couple of clicks, but after you get used to it, it does quickly.

iPad is definitely a better scoring experience. Lots more info available on the screen while scoring.

One users opinion. Not so clear cut which is better scoring experience. There are tradeoffs. iPad does get more info on the screen and have better battery life but.IPhone version does not have The heat management issue and can be used with one hand much more easily. I can use the iPhone version and coach at the same time because of it's smaller size.

The iPad is the most thorough and informative scoring experience. The iPhone app may be slightly more convenient to hold, but the iPad shows more info (and all of the info that the original poster was asking for) at any given time. Heat management has an easy solution - shade. Keep the screen out of direct sunlight (in a dugout, under an umbrella, etc) and you should have no problems! I love this app, and it is one of the reasons my iPad will be pried out of my cold, dead hands.
